Peter Highfield

I have lived in Styal since 1998 and been on the council since 2019. I retired in 2023 having worked with various biotech and medical device companies around Manchester and Sheffield. Photography is my main hobby and over the years I have recorded many village events such as the annual Hog Roast, Remembrance Sunday and Jubilee celebrations. One of my main roles on the council has been to develop a Neighbourhood Development Plan for Styal and this has now been adopted following a Referendum of the Parish. This will help us maintain the appearance and feel of the village that residents enjoy and visitors come to experience. I look forward to continuing to represent the interest and wishes of the residents.
